Self-Harm, Suicide prevention and Eating Disorders
This course is aimed at all destructive self-harming behaviours; many of which create very difficult controlling and unlivable situations in the home.
Q & A
Who is this course for? I have met so many desperate families over the years. Who are watching loved ones in such pain and distress. It also creates a cycle of control in the household. A cycle built in fear. This program is about ending these cycles and rebuilding healthy relationships. If the self-harm is through physical acts of violence or the use of food. Through cycles of domestic violence, often towards the mother. Also, the constant fear of suicide.
What are the aims of the course? Pure and simple to re-create harmony. To rebalance self-worth. To end the pain cycle and the release needed in self-harm.
What experience has gone into creating this course? Again Dr Naoisé O'Reilly never set out to be an expert in this area - but through directly helping families navigate this suffering she developed strategies to end the cycles. She takes great joy in hearing from them years later. Knowing the suffering has ended and that they have gone on to live very fulfilled pain-free lives.
Course Format? This course contains a deeply personal and informative series of presentations to guide you through the unspoken. Voice, Colourful Visuals, Clear Steps and Captions.
How does the live session work? The live session will be organised 4 weeks after the purchase of the course. This is for the very simple reason that in my experience after 4 weeks we start to see changes taking place and the integration of a new mindset. The live session at this stage is to tackle any outstanding difficulties that may still exist for your family. Meet any specific needs or wildcards.
Will there be a community?
Yes - this is the plan for the future and the live sessions will help to cement this approach.
